3. Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)
Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) includes transportation services offered to clients and healthcare consumers who face extraordinary barriers getting to their medical appointments. An example of this is a client who does not have a valid driver's license and requires routine medical appointments to their dialysis treatments, NEMT would be an ideal service as it allows the client to know that they have access to confirmed and worry-free transportation that will have them safely transported to their appointment.
When partnering with Cedrus Care Services NEMT services, we ensure the necessary transportation is booked to and from providers, the appropriate form of transportation is offered based on needs such as ambulatory clients and non-ambulatory clients. Our NEMT services include Client, Driver and Vehicle Insurance 100%. Our drivers are appropriately licensed and trained on appropriate safety measures to apply during transportation of clients.

In the last few years, we have seen the dominance of technology as a measure to help slow the transmission of CoVid19 through social distance measures. One of the many things to emerge from this is virtual caregiving. With virtual caregiving a caregiver can provide support services to housebound clients. Support services include therapeutic conversations with clients, medication reminders, distraction, client education to client and primary home caregivers and simply genuine communication and stimulation through virtual support.
In simple terms, companionship services offer a companion relationship for clients which involve nonmedical services for those who require it. There is no specific standard when requiring companionship services. Companionship services can be offered for seniors, adults, youth and children. This service can allow clients to have emotional and physical support as well as stimulation with simple activities such as games, puzzles to escort for appointments, daily walks, grocery shopping assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping and more to fit your specific needs.
A companion can be offered to facilities to assist with escort services for residents/patients for safety supervision to and from facility to facility or facility to home and can be offered to an individual client and/or their family with assistance with grocery trips, medical appointments, etc. Based on the requirements of the client, a companion can have other certification or training to provide any other needs of the client. Eg. a companion can have other training such as housekeeping to assist client therapeutic or nontherapeutic sanitional activities.

3. In-Home Respite Services
Respite care services’ main goal is to provide temporary relief for a primary caregiver of a client to allow for the caregiver to have a therapeutic break from the demands of caring for a loved one who may be sick, aging or disabled. Taking part in respite services allows for the family member to avoid caregiver burnout as much as possible, it allows for the caregiver to take time away in order to come back refreshed and physically, mentally and emotionally able to provide therapeutic care for their loved one. Respite care comes in multiple models to meet diverse needs, currently we offer In-home respite care services. The in-home model allows for the hired caregiver to assume responsibility and care for the individual in a setting the client is already familiarized with. With the in-home model, the primary caregiver can provide orientation to routines and methods of care tailored to their familiar setting in order to help the client with better reception of the temporary caregiver whilst the primary is on break/leave.
Respite services also come in the models of Day-care centres, residential or nursing facilities with overnight stay options.

4. Homecare
Cedrus Care understands the plight and pain of the patients, especially the elders who lack proper care and are helpless. 76% of elders above the age of 65 who get sick faces problems in their daily activities because of lack of help and suffer. For these reasons, we have curated in-home care assistance services that include: feeding, toileting care, bathing dressing, nutrition assistance, and medical control according to personal care standards.
5. Specialized Nursing Care Services
Specialized Nursing Care Services focuses on specific care management and treatment where nurses or healthcare providers have received additional certified training and education in order to provide advanced levels of care and education to their specific clients.
